Poovar Island Resort Trivandrum cottages are air conditioned and have hot and cold water, tea and coffee maker and direct telephone dialing facility. Resort accommodate 28 cottages of floating (6) and conventional (22) type.All the cottages have air-conditioning, mini bar, colour televisions with International & Indian channels etc. The Land Cottages also known as the Superior Cottages are built on stilts on a water moat. They too are air-conditioned with cable TV, hot and cold water and direct telephone facilities.

Poovar Island Resort offers the Land Cottages framed in traditional style, Floating Cottages and Deluxe Floating Villas. Ayurvedic health club, conference hall, swimming pool, country boat cruises, water sports center.
